STRONG CITIES NETWORK Strategic Partnership
With a shared commitment of empowering city-led action to tackle global to local challenges, Strong Cities Network and Foundation for a Path Forward have a strategic partnership that brings together Strong Cities’ global network and expertise in catalysing city-led action in addressing hate, extremism and polarisation, and Foundation for a Path Forward’s trailblazing public safety, online safety and community resilience initiatives.
BCSMART
British Columbia is facing rising online hate and cyber aggression, threatening social cohesion. The British Columbia Strategic Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting of Threats (BCSMART) initiative, led by the Foundation for a Path Forward (F4PF) in collaboration with the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and Strong Cities Network (SCN), tackles these challenges. BCSMART focuses on countering hate, polarization, and extremism through data-driven insights, interfaith community engagement, and municipal empowerment.

CARE
The Canadian's CARE (Cultivating Active Resilient Engagements) program was created to address the urgent need for improved relations among diverse communities in Canada, with a particular focus on lateral (minority to minority) communities. This need has been heightened by the far-reaching impacts of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, South Asia, and around the world. This global crisis has fueled a disturbing rise in South Asian Hate, Islamophobia and antisemitism within Canada, underscoring the critical importance of initiatives like CARE that foster understanding and actively combat discrimination through community engagement and education.
