Online Mosaic is an innovate and multi-sectorial anti-hate project funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Department of Canadian Heritage. We are leveraging existing capacity as well as developing new capacity for stakeholders to successfully address online hate. 

A key part of the Online Mosaic project is the development of a network of real world, as well as online, stakeholders. We have developed cutting edge tools and process to identify, and allow for the crowdsourcing, of online hate content, particularly towards racial (e.g Asian) or religious (e.g. Muslim) communities. 

Through the development of better tools and process, the education of the public and other stakeholder, and the creation of anti-hate networks, we will be able to address the spread of online hate and its fuelling of real world violence.
