anti-Racism Roadshow

The Anti-Racism Roadshow is a first of its kind initiative to convene – in person – with IBPOC citizens, First Nations, Anti-Racism Networks, faith communities, local politicians, and key stakeholders across the province of B.C. and Canada.

Our theory of change

The Anti-Racism Roadshow: Building Anti-Racism Networks and promoting Multiculturalism:

In order to support the dismantling of systemic racism and support the development of resilient multicultural communities, we bring together stakeholders from First Nations, faith and IBPOC communities, Anti-Racism Networks, all levels of government, businesses, and members of the public across B.C. and Canada for to address on the ground issues and connect, reach those most in need, and develop networks.

The Anti Racism Happy Hour: Eliminating Individual Biases and Connecting Communities

We create safe spaces in cafes and other public spaces for people from diverse backgrounds to meet one another on a human level.

The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding in America has shown that personal engagement with new immigrants, religious minority groups, and refugee groups directly leads to a reduction in negative views and discrimination towards those groups (more than twice as likely to have a favorable opinion).
